Just a short Post

I read a story today about a Grandmother of one of the posters. Never had one myself cause they both died when my parents were young.

Don’t really want to drag everyone down so I’ll talk about what is important. Since I don’t or didn’t have a grandmother, I’ve learned to have a great time with my mother. What a wonder mother she is.

As we get older we take for granted that one day they to will pass on.

Like I said, want to keep it short. So just remember, whatever hang ups you have with your mother or father for that matter. Get over it. Contact them and tell them how much you love them.

Whether you’re a Christian or not, during the holidays, it’s the hardest time of the year for families. Call you Mother and/or Father. No matter what you did, or believe, or they did to you. You only have one life.

Okay, so maybe it does matter what they did. So excluding an serious things. I’m not talking about being a pain and always judging you. If they did some serious things like physically abuse you by breaking arms, nose, etc., than I understand.

People with the sweetist parents in many  cases, haven’t heard from their children.

Once, several years ago, a women was crying when she answered the door. She apologies to me and said one of her childred had just called to wish her Happy Birthday. She said he was in IL., and she was in CA. I wished her happy birthday and went home. I told me sister, and we both returned with a little potted plant.

The women was so happy, and started balling. My sister hugged her until she stopped. We were her new best friends.

Less than a year later she passed away. We weren’t sad because we knew we made her really happy. Everytime she saw us, she would smile from ear to ear.

I hope everyone wishes someone a Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, etc. etc. for the rest of this year, and all of next year.
